As deepest dreams wrap my soul in slumber
and gentle swells have rocked my boat upon the tide
The calling voices sweetly sing their dulcet number
as I upon night’s rising fiery glowing embers ride
My soul is stretched in quiet communion
and much to learn is there for me
As cares of days now fade in union
and on the breeze I now fly free
The softest breath, the petal rose
a scent as clean and fresh and sweet
Clean earth, and grass beneath my toes
as effortless I run with tireless feet.
No millstone worn, no beat of time
the heart knows its well its hidden dreams
and sorrow’s chord will fail to chime
‘neath hallowed halls with golden beams

You did it again Eric. Your words just flow. I’ll bet you weren’t sleepy when you wrote this one.
